He also played the role of the Elven King Thranduil in Peter Jacksons film adaptation of the Tolkien novel The Hobbit. In the spring of 2004, Lee starred a limited engagement of the Off-Broadway production "Small Tragedy", and was nominated for a Lucille Lortel Awards in the category of Outstanding Actor. Lee Grinner Pace (born Main Chickasha, Oklahoma) is an American actor who became famous for his role as Aaron Tyler from the television series Wonderfalls and who played the lead role in the series Pushing Daisies from 2007 to 2008.
